Welcome to my blog, here you will find some general information about me, my origins, my professional experiences and trips. So as you probably saw my name is Rowanne, I am 21 years old and I've been studying in Tourism for three years now. I've started with a High Technician Degree in Tourism in Cambrai and ended up this year at Cergy Pontoise University for the international oriented Rislav Bachelor Degree. Why Tourism? I like being able to practice different languages, help people making the best out of their trips and discover the wide range of jobs the Tourism industry has to offer. 

Even though I've worked in a tourist office in Oxford, a leisure company in Rotterdam and now in a tour operator in Malaysia, my long term career goal is working on a cruise ship.

Besides, traveling is one of my biggest hobbies, it enables you to discover new places, meet new people, and live amazing experiences, what do you want more? 

I'll make sure to bring you with me along the way.

Why "Stroopwafel on the way"? I'm dutch and wanted my blog to have a real personal touch. So I thought what's more personal then put in some origins. Stroopwafels are one of the most typical and most delicious things you will be able to find in the Netherlands. I always bring those caramel filled waffels to my friends and they love it! Moreover I am a total food addict so this title couldn't fit me more!
